Down is one of the Riddler's henchmen who wears crossword puzzles on their shirt. He took part in the Acme Atomic Energy Laboratory heist and battle atop the Pengyblimp. Batman tied up Down, Stanley Laurel, and G.O.O.N. then tossed the line onto a flagpole as the blimp passed by, dragging the henchmen off.
