This bold reimagining of the Batman legend is set in 16th century Mesoamerica. After Spanish conquistadors murder his father, young Aztec Yohualli Coatl escapes to Tenochtitlan to warn King Moctezuma and high priest Yoka. He trains in the temple of the god of bats, Tzinacan, developing weapons with his mentor to fight the invasion and avenge his father. Along the way, he meets Jaguar Woman and Hernan Cortes.
