Burton Thompson is part of the security staff at S.T.A.R. Labs Taos. On the evening of May 13th, Thompson cornered Virgil Hawkins, Asami Koizumi, Eduardo Dorado Junior, and Tye Longshadow as they tried to escape. Thompson was knocked out by a blow to the head with a fire extinguisher manipulated by Hawkins. Thompson later was assigned to the team that tracked the teenagers down to a bus depot. During Red Volcano's attack on S.T.A.R. Labs, Thompson was rendered unconscious. Hawkins found him and dragged him outside.
