Orb-One is a floating unit that assists Kylstar on various tasks such as communications and often speaks on the First Leader's behalf. On December 1st, 10:28 Eastern Standard Time (EST), Orb-One updated Brainiac that Kylstar retrieved the desired assets and Brainiac was free to initiate its own plans. At 16:16 UTC, Orb-One reported to Kylstar that five customized weapon containers were non-functional.
At 19:36 UST, it located Captain Marvel, Captain Atom, Superboy, Superman, and Wonder Woman and they were placed in a new container. It also translated Kylstar's directives for them to understand. They spoke to Kylstar through Orb-One but things took a turn and Kylstar responded personally, engaging them all in combat. After 23:27 UTC, Orb-One and the other orbs emitted a new frequency to neutralize Superboy and the Justice Leaguers, even when Captains Atom and Marvel transformed. Miss Martian saved them and shattered the orbs. Orb-One continued to translate and revealed Kylstar's reasons for taking them. As a sign of good faith, Orb-One teleported everyone who wanted to return home and the Bio-Ship back to Earth.
