Bette Kane is a student enrolled at Gotham City Academy. She appears to be an upper classman and on September 22nd, Team Year Zero, was assigned to Artemis Crock to serve as a "new student liaison." When Dick Grayson took a photograph of Crock, Kane adviced her to ignore the freshman. On December 1st, 19:16 Eastern Standard Time (EST), Kane and Crock crashed the birthday party of Dick Grayson at Wayne Manor. Kane was only curious to meet the "richest kid in Gotham." On December 1st, 08:16 EST, Team Year Five, Bette Kane stayed the night over with Dick Grayson unaware of their shared connection to Gotham Academy. She did realize she was slightly older and saw the G.A. yearbook but had to rush off to work.
