Amber Joyce is a teenager working as a pilot in Fawcett City. On November 5th, Joyce was recruited by Billy Batson to fly him to Happy Harbor. However, while in route, Joyce turned 18 technically once it became midnight. Batson transformed into Captain Marvel and saved Joyce from falling to her death in the other dimension created by a magic spell.
