Carol Ferris is a senior official stationed at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. On August 19th, 20:48 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), Ferris was not pleased when Tom Kalmaku announced the command center's systems were hacked and the scheduled launch could not be prevented. They watched as Batman and Robin battled the League of Shadows outside. Over five years later, on March 19th, Ferris held a press conference just outside the Kennedy Space Center to discuss the launch of the Earth-Mars-Communication-Satellite. Before she could respond to G. Gordon Godfrey, Martian Manhunter intervened to which she agreed with. From mission control, she watched as Black Manta's forces tried to destroy the satellite. Ferris expedited the launch but watched as a bomb detonated the rocket.
