Yellowstone National Park holds the distinction of being the first national park in the world. It was established by the United States of America Congress and signed into existence by President Grant on March 1, 1872. Spanning an area of 3,468.4 square miles, the park is located in parts of Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Some of the most famous features are Yellowstone Lake, one of the largest high-altitude lakes, and Old Faithful Geyser. Yellowstone happens to be centered over the Yellowstone Caldera, the largest supervolcano on the continent.
T.O. Morrow maintains a secret underground base in the Teton County portion of Yellowstone, 100 meters south of Old Faithful. On October 10th, 20:22 MDT, the Team and Zatanna arrived in search of Morrow and his Red androids. Morrow's fourth Red, Red Volcano carried out his plans and attempted to erupt the Yellowstone Caldera to trap humanity under a cloud of impenetrable ash.
