Vlatavastok is the captial city of Vlatava. In late September, Team Year Zero, Red Arrow staked out the royal palace based on credible intelligence that the League of Shadows would try to assassinate King Josef Vladek. Late that night, he encountered Sportsmaster. Sportsmaster used Red Arrow's Cadmus programming to his advantage and knocked him out with one punch then murdered Vladek. On January 5th, 05: 57 Eastern European Time (EET), Team Year Six, Batgirl, Bumblebee, and Wolf teleported to Vlatavastok in search of a Krolotean base. They encountered only two Kroloteans but both got away. In Team Year Ten, the S.T.A.R. Labs board of directors expressed interest in opening a facility in Vlatavastok. On November 10, 07:54 EET, a squad from the Team posed as part of a United Nations commission to infiltrate a hospital. Dick Grayson told a doctor they were authorized by Secretary-General Troia.
The doctor noted he looked too young. He lied he was working toward his doctorate and the three young ladies with him earned their internships. He asked how long the five patients were in a coma. The doctor estimated they were in a coma for nearly two years and they believed it was the result of a toxin. Grayson told him there might be an antidote and promised to get back to him. Stephanie Brown informed Grayson the patients consisted of two miners, two geologists, and one mining engineer. Andi Murphy asked the wife of one of the victims where her husband was working. The squad headed to a mine outside of Krastmala.
