The Smokey Mountains are a mountain range located along the Tennessee-North Carolina border and a subrange in the Appalachian Mountains in southeastern United States of America. The highest point of the mountains is 6,643 feet. It was named "Smokey" after the fog that hangs over the range. It is home to dense old growth forest, a diverse ecosystem, and notably Black Bears. On December 30th, a trap was set by Riddler, Cheshire, Shimmer, and Mammoth in the Smokey Mountains. At 10:48 Eastern Standard Time (EST), the Team arrived to investigate a downed jet believed to have been boarded by Cheshire at Ashfield Regional Airport. Riddler activated several pylons that formed a force field around the Team and villains. Mammoth, Shimmer, and Riddler were captured. Cheshire's containment case was also confiscated and turned over to the Justice League.
