Roanoke Island is an island located in Dare County off the coast of North Carolina. It was named after the Roanoke Carolina Algonquian people who lived there although ancient indigenous tribes occupied it for thousands for years. The island is about eight miles long and two miles wide. The population is under 7000. Roanoke is historically famous for the disappearance of an American colony in the late 1580s.
On November 5th, 19:46 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), Klarion and Teekl settled at a crossroads on Roanoke Island. Klarion then gathered his four comrades: Wotan, Blackbriar Thorn, Felix Faust, and Wizard. They chanted and completed a spell that split Earth into two dimensions. The Team and Justice League eventually tracked the source of the magic to Roanoke and utilized a coordinated simultaneous attack to destroy the source.
