Qurac is a country in the Middle East, located on the Persian Gulf and neighbors Bialya. It is led by the democratically elected President Harjavti, a fair and wise humanitarian.
On September 3rd, the Team was assigned to investigate a large power surge in Bialya. They landed on the border between Qurac and Bialya, just two klicks from the hot zone. Miss Martian scouted ahead only to be ambushed by Psimon. On September 5th, the Team reunited in Qurac and boarded the Bio Ship with the Sphere. On November 17th, President Harjavti made a startling announcement that Qurac would be united with Bialya into one nation and it would be ruled by Queen Bee of Bialya. The people were suppressed, press censored, and martial law established. Batman sent the Team to investigate. On November 23rd, 22:11 UTC+2, the Team traveled to the city of Dhabar and infiltrated the Democratic Palace. They found the President but were surrounded by armed Bialyan soldiers. Once the soldiers and Psimon were defeated, Miss Martian posed as Queen Bee and President Harjavti outed her scheme in public. On December 1st, President Harjavti faced impeachment at the hands of political rivals who were puppets of Queen Bee.
Later in December 1st, President Harjavti made a public appearance with his daughter and brother and were targeted by Deadshot. As planned by Queen Bee, Sumaan Harjavti took the bullet for his brother to endear himself to the people as a hero. On January 16th, 16:16 UTC+2, Team Year One, Queen Bee got her revenge on the Team by forcing Marie Logan to drive off a cliff to her death.
After President Harjavti's assassination, Queen Bee set up a puppet regime and installed Harjavti's brother Sumaan as President. A catatonic Psimon was eventually remanded to a Quarci hospital. He eventually healed and used his powers to make the attending doctors and nurses think he was still there. Months later, on February 19th, 19:06 UTC+2, Alpha Squad passed through Qurac in the cloaked Bio Ship on route to Bialya.
