Philadelphia is the largest city in the state of Pennsylvania and was founded on October 27, 1682. At the time, it was even the second largest city in the British Empire and a crucial social and geographic center in the original 13 American colonies. In American history, it is famous for serving as the birthplace of ideas that led to the American Revolution and later its independence from the British. From 1790 to 1800, Philadelphia was the national capitol while Washington D.C. was constructed.
On August 8th, 21:57 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), Professor Ojo, of the League of Shadows, landed in Philadelphia and soon attacked a S.T.A.R. Labs facility with the Utility Fog. Ojo's next assigned target was a WayneTech facility. After learning the Fog's location, Robin and Superboy flew to the city aboard Miss Martian's Bio Ship. The S.T.A.R. building was completely decimated but Robin managed to save the WayneTech facility. Over five years later, on January 4th, at 22:55 EST, Nightwing and Wonder Girl arrived in Philadelphia aboard the Super-Cycle and discovered one Krolotean and one non-operational Zeta Platform.
