Old Roman's Trench is an oceanic trench located somewhere in Atlantis. It was one of the suspected strongholds of the Purists according to Prince Orm's intelligence. On September 7th, 01:31 UTC-2, Aqualad, Miss Martian, and Superboy investigated the trench and were ambushed. Aqualad anticipated this and was joined by several of his former classmates. The tide of the battle turned against them when Ocean-Master cast a mystic attack on them. Topo generated a giant ink cloud and Superboy used his X-Ray vision to defeat the remaining Purists.
