Minneapolis is a city located in the state of Minnesota and is abundantly rich in water, with several lakes, wetlands, rivers, creeks, and waterfalls. In 1983, a New Age monastery was built in Minneapolis but was abandoned in 1991. Nine years later, it was purchased by Jeffrey Burr, better known as Kobra. On September 12th, 21:57 Central Daylight Time (CDT), Green Arrow, Artemis, Flash, Kid Flash, Batman, and Robin met in the sub-basement of a Wayne Industries-owned hotel and went over intelligence that led them to the New Age monastery. There they observed Kobra engaged in a ceremony with the kidnapped Dr. Jason Burr restrained to an altar. The heroes soon battled the cult but Batman, Flash, and Green Arrow broke off to pursue a giant cobra throughout downtown Minneapolis.
