The Logan Animal Sanctuary is a private reserve located at the Qurac-Bialya border. It is operated by Marie Logan and she also resides on the sanctuary with her son, Garfield. An Oryx, several Wildebeest, and a green furred monkey can be found on the property. Bialyan border crossings became common and the sanctuary often endured broken fences.
On November 22nd, Team Year Zero, the Team intervened on such a border crossing and saved the Logan's from being caught in a stampede. Several drone aircraft converged and blew up the sanctuary's clinic. Garfield Logan was caught in the explosion and needed a blood transfusion. After Miss Martian used her shapeshifting powers to generate O- blood, the Team left to find President Harjavti. They returned to the sanctuary when the mission was completed and Miss Martian revealed her connection to Marie Logan. However, when Miss Martian went to check on Garfield, Queen Bee was waiting and blackmailed her. On December 1st, Superboy and Miss Martian visited the sanctuary amid the rebuilding of the clinic. They met Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen, who were interviewing Marie Logan and covering President Harjavti's impeachment hearings in Dhabar. After Kent and Olsen left for Qurac, Superboy and Miss Martian did as well.
