During the Vietnam era in the 1960s, Captain Adams suspected a weapons smuggling ring was present at a location given the designation "Hill 409." General Lemar heard rumors and suspected as much. He ordered Adams to take a squad to 409 and investigate. However, the squad was ambushed by Viet Cong and the only survivors were Adams and Lieutenant Yarrow.
