The Hall of Justice is the main headquarters of the Justice League and is located in the United States of America's capital, Washington DC. It is believed to be fully financed by Batman. The main chamber houses a sophisticated computer system similar to that found in the Batcave and can communicate with various law enforcement agencies and government bodies. It also contains Zeta Beam teleporter tubes that provide travel between the Hall and the Watchtower, the Justice League's real headquarters, making it a veritable pit stop. As a public relations move, part of the Hall is open to the public to visit, much like an embassy or tourist destination. The entrance to one of the main areas is adorned with a pantheon of statues, those of the seven founders of the Justice League: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter. Justice League members are given special access to authorized zones through body scan verification. Tourists often visit the Museum of Justice, which houses various objects and weapons confiscated by the League and costumes of former heroes.
Three to four years after its founding, Batman, Green Arrow, Aquaman, and Flash escorted Robin, Speedy, Aqualad, and Kid Flash to the Hall on July 4th at 14:00 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). As a first step in full-fledged membership, the sidekicks were given unlimited access to the gym, fully stocked galley, and library. Notably, it was Kid Flash's first visit to the Hall and possibly the only time all four were in the same place at once. However, Speedy was not pleased by the development, quit, and stormed off. Just as Superman reported of a fire at Project Cadmus, Zatara requested full League response to the villain, Wotan. Confined to the library, Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad hacked Justice League systems and went to investigate Project Cadmus. On December 30th, a public ceremony was held outside the Hall of Justice to officially induct five new members into the Justice League - Dr. Fate, Plastic Man, The Atom, Icon, and Red Arrow. The Team was observing the event from the Hall's study but left when Dick Grayson got an alert about Cheshire.
After Red Arrow's last parameter was met, he fled the Watchtower by using a Zeta Tube Teleporter to transport himself to the Hall of Justice. He soon vacated the headquarters when Aquaman, Flash, and Green Arrow arrived. On December 31st, the Bio Ship, while cloaked, stopped over the Hall of Justice to gather intelligence from the League computers. When the Team learned of Red Arrow's arrival, Aqualad surmised he was hiding out in one of his equipment caches and the Bio Ship departed. About five years later, on January 3rd at 17:06 EST, Cat Grant attempted to get comment from Zatanna and Rocket on leaked footage of Lobo and a Krolotean. Catherine Cobert stepped out and reminded Grant a statement would be issued soon. On January 6th, 12:05 EST, Cobert led several civilians on a guided public tour at the Hall of Justice. In a private interrogation room, Martian Manhunter continued to try to interrogate a captured Krolotean with Batman observing. Miss Martian and Superboy soon arrived from Taos. Miss Martian used her powers to forcefully extract intelligence from the Krolotean.
On February 13th, Ugly Mannheim and Whisper A'Daire sneaked onto the Hall's perimeter. Mannheim activated an Apokoliptian device that turned the Appellaxian Host Bodies on display inside into a Golem under his control. Superboy, Blue Beetle, Wolf, and Super-Cycle attempted to stop them but pursued them to an area near the Arlington Power Plant. On March 24th, 03:12 EDT, Wally West teleported to the Hall of Justice and spoke to Nightwing about the destruction of Mount Justice and the kidnapping of Blue Beetle, Impulse, and Beast Boy. The Team was allowed to use the Hall's basement as a base of operations. On April 1st, 21:24 EDT, L-Ron appeared outside the Hall of Justice and issued a salutation. Zatanna and Captain Mavel investigated and met Despero as well. L-Ron activated an impenetrable shield around the Hall and Despero fought everyone inside. While Black Lightning and an U.S. military contingent led by General Eiling tried to assault the shield from the outside, Despero tore through the base demolishing the statues of the founding members, the museum, and several rooms. Eventually, Despero was neutralized but L-Ron detonated himself and destroyed the Hall. On April 2nd, around 22:03 EDT, the Reach Ambassador applied a scarab device to the shield and turned it off, liberating those trapped inside.
