Bialya is a country located in the Middle East, neighboring the western part of Qurac. The government of Bialya is a constitutional monarchy, with a democratically elected representative government on paper but a dictatorship in practice. Bialya is now led by Queen Bee from the Royal Palace in the captial city of Al-Qawitah. The rogue state has not signed the United Nations' Justice League charter.
On September 3rd, 4:49 Eastern European Summer Time (EEST), Team Year Zero, the Light's new partner teleported the Sphere to the Bialyan desert where it was studied by a team led by Psimon. Batman soon assigned the Team to investigate Bialya after the Watchtower detected an immense power surge from the arrival of the Sphere. Miss Martian went ahead, cloaked, to survey the hot zone. She was detected by Psimon, who erased the past six months of her memory and the Team's memory. As the Team reunited, Miss Martian and Superboy defeated Psimon and were befriended by the Sphere. On November 17th, President Harjavti announced the reunification of Qurac and Bialya and would allow Queen Bee to rule over the new nation. The Bialyan army was invited into Qurac and martial law was established. Several were armed with Apokoliptian Weaponry and planned to assassinate President Harjavti but the Team intervened and saved his life. On November 26th, 23:19 UTC, Team Year Three, Red Arrow and Cheshire finished chaperoning a shipment of LexCorp tech to Bialya.
On February 17th, Team Year Five, Klarion secured the Tiamat statue from Aquagirl in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and entered a portal to Bialya. Aquagirl followed but was captured. After Alpha Squad returned from Gotham City, the Team and Batman discovered what had transpired just as disaster reports started to come in. Kid Flash attempted to locate the statue by searching for the epicenter. However, there were eight - in Greece, southern Arizona, New Zealand, Haiti, Kenya, Bialya, and Russia. Nightwing realized they could alternatively track the epicenter of Klarion's magic. Zatanna used a spell to locate the locus of his sorcery she previously used in Team Year Zero when all adults were sent to another dimension. Klarion's coordinates were locked in Bialya. On February 18th, 09:16 UTC+2, Bio-Ship dropped off Alpha Squad, led by Aqualad, in a Bialyan desert canyon. Alpha made their way to the stunningly beautiful Esagila and descended into the underground temple. Beta Squad was requested in order to cover two paths in sufficient time. Beta Squad arrived at the Sacred Well Room too late and were forced to battle Tiamat while Alpha fought Klarion and Blockbuster for the Tablet of the Destiny, a key to defeating Tiamat. The Tablet was shattered and Aquagirl sacrificed her life to return Tiamat to dormancy and save the world.
In Team Year Six, Alpha Squad was assigned to sneak behind enemy lines into Bialya and recon known Boom Tube hotspots and find any alien technology matching the alien bomb that was detonated on Malina Island. On February 20th, 00:12 UTC+2, Alpha Squad searched one last hotspot. From afar, the compound appeared to comprise of only three hangars but it was discovered they connected to an ancient chamber 20 meters below the surface. They discovered abducted teenage runaways and strays about to be delivered to the Light's new partner. The squad successfully extracted the abductees and eluded several hostiles led by Psimon. Queen Bee later assessed the damage but luckily, a second shipment of abducted teenagers also arrived.
On June 14th, 05:19 UTC+2, the Super-Cycle arrived at the secret landstrip with Batgirl, Impulse, Zatanna, Rocket, and Blue Beetle. They were attacked by Bialyan soldiers, Devastation, Mammoth, and Shimmer. Once they were defeated, Zatanna went into a mystic trance and left the others to fend off Green Beetle. Beast Boy, Wonder Girl, and Robin provided support. Zatanna and Isis cast a spell that placed Blue and Green Beetle's Scarab's off-mode. The heroes vacated Bialya afterwards. On June 14th, 20:16 UTC+2, Queen Bee paid a visit to the airstrip and presided over Mammoth, Shimmer, and Devastation, pleased the Light's plans could proceed on schedule. At some point in or after July Team Year Six, Bialya invaded Qurac with both its military and with meta-humans, including Mammoth. Quarci refugees flooded into Markovia. Qurac was annexed by Bialya and the country was renamed Greater Bialya in Team Year Seven. Quarci's President Sumaan Harjavti became Greater Bialya's ambassador to the United Nations.
On July 30th, 14:22 EDT, Team Year Eight, Ambassador Harjavti wondered why a Bialyan hadn't been invited to join the Justice League. Ambassador Troia quipped when Bialya produced a hero who wasn't a wanted criminal, then the League would perhaps consider his or her candidacy. There was laughter in the General Assembly. Harjavti claimed that statement was an outrageous exaggeration. Troia quipped it was largely accurate. On August 5th, 02:55 EEST, Jaqqar Marlo was pursued by Black Spider but was crushed to death by a boulder controlled by Terra. On September 28th, 22:03 UCT+3, somewhere in Greater Biayla, Queen Bee presided over a meeting of the Light and discussed two situations that each required a delicate handling. She was confident their new hire, Lady Shiva, could handle the first then asked Vandal Savage if he was certain his acquaintance was up to the second. Savage was quite certain. She declared their great works could proceed.
On September 30th, 01:01 UTC+3, Lady Shiva reported to the Light that her job in Central City was done. Queen Bee was pleased and declared she was clearly the right choice as the Light's new enforcer. Savage brought up how Lobo's incursion allowed them to confirm Count Vertigo's testimony that Superboy and Black Lightning participated in the Markovian Incident. Ultra-Humanite remarked that was such a waste and they lost an excellent source of meta-humans. Savage mused they were other options but emphasized they needed confirmation of all they suspected to be certain Nightwing assembled a new off-the-books team. He thought the amount of champions used, seven, was elegant. He admitted they learned to regret young heroes like these could cause them trouble. Gretchen Goode reiterated there was a plan in place to deal with the "naughty children" in their own good time. On November 1st, 01:43 UTC+3, Nightwing's covert team arrived in the country on Bio-Ship to infiltrate a meta-human auction being held at an abandoned mall in Al-Qawiya and extract Princess Tara Markov.
It was suspected Lex Luthor was holding the abducted Queen Perdita Vladek in his robotics factory in Greater Bialya. On November 11th, 22:33 UTC+2, Cyborg opened a Boom Tube for the Outsiders to use to immediately fly to the Lexcorp Robotics factory in Madinat Altharwati. Many Lex-Bots were waiting for them outside the factory and a squad from Onslaught as well as Metallo waited for them inside. A second squad of Outsiders, Mongoose Squad, arrived to provide back up outside the factory to buy Gorilla Squad enough time to find Vladek inside. The Team also infiltrated the factory but encountered Psimon, Count Vertigo, and Queen Bee. They pretended to fall victim to Bee's meta-ability until the time was right then Halo blasted them unconscious. Queen Perdita Vladek, free of Psimon's thrall, was boomed to Baby while Miss Martian and Tigress fought their way to the Outsiders and neutralized Metallo. At 22:58 UTC+2, Baby departed Bialya.
