Arlington is a county located in northern Virginia directly across from Washington, D.C. on the south bank of the Potomac River. It was originally donated by Virginia to the United States of America as the base for a new federal capital district. Arlington then became a base for headquarters of many government agencies and departments, including the Pentagon.
On August 13th, at 23:03 Eastern Daylight Time, Miss Martian and Robin infiltrated the Pentagon to ask General Eiling about his role as judge in the Captain Adams case. On August 13th, at 23:57 EDT, Miss Martian and Robin entered the home of Shirley Mason. If Captain Adams was framed, they decided the person to start with was Mason who served as medical examiner in the case. However, when they arrived at Mason's home, they found her stabbed to death. Without disturbing the scene, the duo found Mason was holding a photograph of several people.
Over five years later, on February 13th 22:45 Eastern Standard Time (EST), the Appellaxian Golem arrived in Arlington with Ugly Mannheim and Whisper A'Daire. Soon enough, they were engaged by Superboy, Blue Beetle, Wolf, and Super-Cyle. Once Super-Cycle generated a frequency that nullified Mannheim's device, the Golem marched to the Arlington Power Plant in an attempt to kill itself by nuclear meltdown. Disaster was averted when Partner killed the Golem rather than risk the Team taking possession of it.
