The Zeta-Tube is a series of machines with the function of planetary teleportation utilized by the Justice League. A Zeta-Tube must be located at the point of departure and point of arrival. Before the Justice League used the machines, Martian Manhunter was brought to Earth due to a Zeta-Beam accident caused by Dr. Erdel. S.T.A.R. Labs and the Justice League, with a grant from the Wayne Foundation, established the Zeta-Tube network on Earth. One Zeta-Tube is located in Taos at the S.T.A.R. Labs' Erdel Initiative Zeta Lab, several at Justice League bases, and many are hidden across the planet. The Hall of Justice has at least one in an authorized area near the study, Mount Justice has two tubes in the Mission Room and two in the hangar, and the Watchtower has at least three tubes in the Mission Room and three more in other rooms of the base. A supply of power cores for the Zeta-Tubes are kept in the Watchtower.

Gotham City has a tube disguised as an out of order phone booth, one in the Batcave, Poseidonis has one, there is one hidden in a bridge in Manhattan, one in Fawcett City disguised as an out of order photo booth, one in Star City as an out of order police box, one in Providence, one hidden in the sub-basement of a Wayne Industries-owned hotel in Minneapolis, one hidden in a junkyard in Chicago, one in Lucas Carr's garage in Happy Harbor, Washington, D.C., the Los Angeles branch of Wayne Tech, and Superman's Fortress of Solitude..

The Justice League computer scans users and only activates the Zeta-Tube for members of the Justice League, the Team, and Authorized Guests. After Watchtower sensors detected a power surge in Bialya, the Team investigated and found traces of Zeta-Beam radiation. The source turned out to be a Boom Tube. On November 11th, 2010, extreme atmospheric conditions created by the Flying Ice Fortresses forced the Zeta-Tube network to go offline. On May 13th, Team Year Six, the Zeta-Tube at S.T.A.R. Labs Taos was wrecked by Red Volcano to prevent Justice Leaguers from arriving to stop it. Eventually, by May 28th, a Zeta-Tube was installed in the Bludhaven base.

After the schism took place on July 27th, Team Year Eight, Batman's group used Zeta-Tubes through hacked Z designations. In a similar way, Nightwing used hacked G-designations for the young meta-humans and aliens he trained with Superboy and Tigress. On January 1st, Team Year Nine, Eduardo Dorado Senior hacked the Zeta-Tubes then zetaed himself, Dr. Sandsmark, and Jay Garrick to the Los Angeles Wayne Tech then they made their way to the Premiere Building. On March 22nd, Team Year Ten, a Zeta-Tube was installed and tested at the Science Center in Ma'aleca'andra, M'arzz. Just after Martian Manhunter entered the Zeta-Tube, Lor-Zod covertly destroyed it with heat vision. Luckily, Martian Manhunter completed his trip and arrived at the Watchtower unharmed. On August 27th, Kid Flash took a pack of five inhibitor collars, Space-Belt, and Zeta Tube power core before departing on a secret mission with Saturn Girl and Chamelon Boy aboard Bio-Ship. On September 16th, M'aatt and J'ann M'orzz took the M'arzz Zeta-Tube to the Zeta-Tube in Lucas Carr's garage in Happy Harbor.
