The Zeta-Platform is the product of research on advanced interplanetary Zeta-Beam travel conducted in secret by Sardath in Ranagar on planet Rann. However, the technology was stolen by the Kroloteans. They constructed several Zeta-Platforms in their ship hidden in the Rannian jungle. Several more platforms were constructed and based in 14 locations on Earth. On January 4th, the Justice League and the Team simultaneously attacked all 14 platform locations and neutralized them. In order to safeguard from future incursion by Zeta-Platform or any other Zeta-Beam-related technology, Sardath devised a Zeta Shield that would block all unauthorized transmissions.
