The Tablet of Destiny is an artifact of Order with properties of both technology and sorcery. In Babylonian times, Marduk used the Tablet of Destiny to shut down the alien weapon Tiamat but also had to sacrifice his life in the process. The battle became part of the Chaoskampf myth and Marduk was said to have "petitioned the four winds" to create lightning and rain to defeat Tiamat. In modern times, the Light planned to reactivate Tiamat. In exchange for waking the dragon for the Light, Klarion could have the Tablet of Destiny. On February 18th, Team Year Five, after Tiamat arose from the Sacred Well in the Esagila, Klarion dislodged the Tablet from the weapon. Teekl snatched the Tablet up and strolled into the next chamber. Alpha Squad happened to be waiting. Aqualad caught Teekl off guard and took the Tablet. He realized it was the secret Marduk used to stop Tiamat and refused to surrender it. Once Alpha defeated Blockbuster, Klarion had enough and blasted Aqualad. The Tablet was destroyed in the process.
