After Beast Boy had a break through with Black Canary and started his road to healing, he got an emotional support dog, a corgi he named Wingman after Crimson Avenger's sidekick and the very first superhero sidekick. On September 9th, Team Year Ten, he introduced Wingman to those present at Black Canary's therapy group in Taos. Beast Boy turned into a corgi, too, and shared they took care of each other. He gave him food and he gave back unconditional love, took walks together, added he only used actual bathrooms, Wingman also gave him a consistent schedule, and he was sleeping a little better with fewer nightmares. Vic Stone told him that was great and was surprised such a little dog had a big effect. Beast Boy clarified Wingman was just part of it and he was doing the work to get better. On September 15th, 14:43 EDT, Stargirl interviewed Beast Boy, with Wingman in tow, for her show. On September 16th, he brought Wingman with him to Happy Harbor for Conner Kent and M'gann M'orzz's wedding. He held Wingman a little more when Queen Perdita Vladek told him she would always love him but he should move on like her.
On November 9th, 18:06 EST, Logan held Wingman while Wonder Girl took part in a conference call with Oracle, Tigress, Black Lightning, and King Markov. At 20:57 PST, Wingman was also in Logan's arms when Geo-Force and Queen Vladek called in to announce the latter's rescue. On November 11th, 12:06 PST, Beast Boy held Wingman while he and Wonder Girl took part in a conference call with Nightwing, Oracle, Robin, and Cyborg to discuss the real reason for Vladek's visit to Star City.
