A woman known only as Queen Bee is a dictator who rules the rogue country Bialya. Officially, a constitutional monarchy was established but Queen Bee continued to rule the country under a dictatorship. She is not a member of the Justice League's United Nations charter. Queen Bee has a pheromone driven power to enthrall men and some women but not at long distance. At some point, Queen Bee joined the Light as one of its core seven members.
On November 17th, amid Queen Bee's wild claims Qurac and Bialya were once one nation, President Harjavti made a surprise announcement that he supported reunification. He even went further to declare Queen Bee would rule this nation. On the day of reunification, Miss Martian impersonated Queen Bee while President Harjavti outed her scheme in public. The real Queen Bee infiltrated the Logan Animal Sanctuary and used her powers to order a sleeping Garfield Logan to hurt himself if anything happened to her. She then blackmailed Miss Martian to cooperate or she'd expose her secret of being a White Martian.
On December 1st, Queen Bee plotted to replace President Harjavti with his twin brother Sumaan, who was in her thrall. Deadshot was hired to shoot Sumaan as part of a fake assassination plot on the President designed to endear him to the people as a hero. On December 30th, Queen Bee called in Miss Martian to Santa Prisca. She was also on hand to use her powers to modify Superboy's Cadmus programming. However, the Team was prepared and a skirmish followed. Miss Martian used her telekinesis and knocked Queen Bee unconscious. She was taken aboard a helicopter by Lex Luthor and Mercy Graves, who then departed the island. She later appeared at the Light's raid of Project Cadmus.
On January 16th, 16:16 UTC+2, Team Year One, Queen Bee exacted her revenge on the Team by using her powers to enthrall Marie Logan. She ordered Logan to drive off a cliff to her death. On December 1st, 18:03 Eastern Standard Time (EST), Team Year Five, Queen Bee and a squad from the League of Shadows switched Noor Harjavti and Bibbo Bibbowski with robot duplicates piloted by Kroloteans. On February 20th, Team Year Six, Queen Bee arrived at a secret Bialyan compound after reports that a squad from the Team liberated a shipment of kidnapped teenagers. While Queen Bee was upset, her credibility would be preserved since a second shipment was already collected and ready for delivery to the Reach. On June 14th, 20:16 UTC+2, Queen Bee presided at a meeting in the secret hangar. While she knew her order to throw the fight against the Team and Justice League was disappointing to her agents, Queen Bee knew it was a necessary evil so the Light could proceed with its plans.
At some point between July Team Year Six and July Team Year Eight, Bialya invaded Qurac with both its military and with meta-humans, including Mammoth. Quarci refugees flooded into Markovia. Qurac was annexed by Bialya and the country was renamed Greater Bialya. Quarci's President Sumaan Harjavti became Greater Bialya's ambassador to the United Nations. On September 28th, 22:03 UCT+3, Team Year Eight, somewhere in Greater Biayla, Queen Bee presided over a meeting of the Light and discussed two situations that each required a delicate handling. She was confident their new hire, Lady Shiva, could handle the first then asked Vandal Savage if he was certain his acquaintance was up to the second. Savage was quite certain. She declared their great works could proceed.
On September 30th, 01:01 UTC+3, Lady Shiva reported to the Light that her job in Central City was done. Queen Bee was pleased and declared she was clearly the right choice as the Light's new enforcer. Savage brought up how Lobo's incursion allowed them to confirm Count Vertigo's testimony that Superboy and Black Lightning participated in the Markovian Incident. Ultra-Humanite remarked that was such a waste and they lost an excellent source of meta-humans. Savage mused they were other options but emphasized they needed confirmation of all they suspected to be certain Nightwing assembled a new off-the-books team. He thought the amount of champions used, seven, was elegant. He admitted they learned to regret young heroes like these could cause them trouble. Gretchen Goode reiterated there was a plan in place to deal with the "naughty children" in their own good time. On January 22nd, 17:20 ICT, Team Year Nine, Queen Bee attend a meeting of the Light through conference call. Gretchen Goode briefed the other members of the Light about Dick Grayson, Jefferson Pierce, and a Mother Box being rescued.
A couple hours later, Queen Bee attended another meeting of the Light through conference call to discuss Terra's cover remaining intact and how giving Halo to Darkseid would shift the galactic balance of power. On February 15th, 09:02 ICT, Queen Bee attended a meeting of the Light. They watched a GBS report about the Justice League assuming control of the Orphanage and rescuing 316 kidnapped meta-humans who were from Earth. The Light continued with their plans. On February 15th, 18:35 EST, Queen Bee was present through conference call while Deathstroke and Lex Luthor oversaw the plan to order Terra to kill Beast Boy to publicly disgrace the Outsiders and influence the passing of Luthor's hero registration. On February 23rd, 00:00 ICT, Queen Bee attended a meeting of the Light through conference call to discuss Brion Markov taking the throne of Markovia and monitoring Halo. On May 14th, 07:32 ICT, Team Year Ten, Queen Bee attended a meeting of the Light through conference call to be briefed on the meta-human operation in Markovia.
On November 11th, after 22:42 UTC+2, Team Year Ten, Bialyan soldiers breached the room in the Lexcorp Robotics factory in Madinat Altharwati where Queen Perdita Vladek was being held. Count Vertigo attacked the Team with vertigo waves but teased not to sate themselves on his power because he was just the appetizer. Queen Bee stepped out from behind him, referred to herself as the main course, and enthralled Red Arrow, Arsenal, and Halo. She cound the intrusion upon her privacy upsetting and ordered them to kill Tigress, Miss Martian, and Arrowette if they truly loved her. They complied. At 22:48 UTC+2, Psimon released Vladek and she regained consciousness, demanding to know what happened. Queen Bee replied nothing unexpected then elaborated her loyal, loving thralls simply dispatched a few unwanted intruders. Count Vertigo recounted Luthor's plan to Vladek then revealed he planned to use the Markovian Border Crisis to foment a nationalistic uprising and take over Vlatava in the wake of her assassination by a rogue metahuman. Queen Bee asked Halo to kill her. Halo accessed her yellow aura then instead blasted Bee, Vertigo, and Psimon unconscious. The Team revealed they each took a massive dose of garlic pills to thwart Bee's complex pheromeones while Miss Martian used her telepathy to neutralize Bee's low-level psychic push and their deaths were just a ruse.
