Mr. Twister is a suit of armor created by T.O. Morrow and Bromwell Stikk to find and reprogram Red Tornado, another creation of Morrow's. Stikk was meant to wear it but Morrow insisted he operate it remotely with a robot pilot. Mr. Twister was dispatched to Happy Harbor to lure Red Tornado out into the open. It triggered an emergency alert at the Happy Harbor Power Plant. Instead of Tornado, it encountered Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, and Miss Martian. After defeating them twice, Mr. Twister was annoyed by their presence and proceeded to kill them.
Miss Martian formulated a plan and posed as Red Tornado. Distracted with its primary mission, Twister was decimated by the others. The robot pilot exited Twister and surrendered but Miss Martian quickly destroyed it. The remains were confiscated by the Team and brought back to the Cave.
