Boss Zucco is a crime boss based in Gotham City. When Dick Grayson was nine years old, Zucco tried to extort money from Haly's Circus. Mr. Haly ran an honest operation and refused to pay protection money. Boss Zucco responded by sabotaging the final act of the Flying Graysons, Haly's Circus' star attraction. Grayson was taken in by Bruce Wayne and they trained together. Batman and Robin found Zucco and brought him to justice.
