Albert Michaels became the supervillain Atomic Skull. He has the power to fire a powerful energy blast from his head. Atomic Skull's main form of transportation is a sleek hovercraft. At some point, Atomic Skull became a member of the Injustice League.
In Team Year Zero, Atomic Skull contracted Psycho-Pirate to steal a canister of Plutonium from a facility in Salt Flats, Colorado. On July 25th, sometime after 13:21 Mountain Daylight Time (MDT), Atomic Skull arrived to see Psycho-Pirate defeated by Kid Flash. He stole back the Plutonium and attempted to flee the scene. Miss Martian took back the Plutonium with her telekinetic powers. As a distraction, Atomic Skull blasted the canister from her hold and successfully escaped while the Team secured the object.
On October 1st, when the Plant Creature housed in the central control system began to show signs of strain, Atomic Skull supplied his atomic energy to conduits and powered up the beast. However, after it was blown up, Atomic Skull joined the battle outside and blasted Miss Martian. He surrendered when the Justice League arrived.
