Abra Kadabra is a supervillain posing as a magician. Abra uses science from the future to simulate magic with his main weapon, a magician's slim wand. The Flash defeated Abra and proved he used futuristic technology to simuate magic, revealing him to be a charlatan.
Abra Kadabra desired real power and soon fell into the employ of Klarion the Witch Boy. On July 27th, 21:57 Central Daylight Time (CDT), Team Year Zero, Abra Kadabra teleported into Madame Xanadu's parlor in New Orleans, Louisiana and kidnapped Kent Nelson. On August 19th, Abra Kadabra, Klarion, Teekl, and Kent Nelson entered the Tower of Fate after the Team. Abra Kadabra managed to defeat Miss Martian, Superboy, Aqualad, and Artemis while Kid Flash, Kent Nelson, Teekl, and Klarion went after the Helmet of Fate. After defeating Klarion and Teekl, Dr. Fate disarmed Abra of all his technology. This also stripped him of nearly all his clothing, too. Superboy rendered him unconscious with one punch.
Abra Kadabra was incarcerated at Belle Reve Penitentiary. During a mass prison break, Abra guarded master control with the Hook and Professor Ojo. He was frozen by a misguided Icicle Junior.
