Zeus is the leader of the Olympian gods and commands earth shattering thunderbolts. Despite being ab almighty god, he feels love for his misguided son, Ares. When Queen Hippolyta was about to kill Ares, Zeus appeared to them and ordered Hippolyta to spare his life. Even centuries later, when Ares escaped, Zeus pleaded with his brother Hades to not help his son because he knew he could not save his son a second time.
