Felicity Smoak is an ally of The Arrow and his many associates. At one point, she and the Flash kissed. She gave Cisco Ramon a facial recognition algorithm to help with tracking metahuman activity. Once Arrow and Flash initiated a talk with Mari McCabe, Arrow contacted Smoak. After she went on a tangent about the fern she put in the Arrow's base, she heard Flash and greeted him. Arrow asked Smoak to check if McCabe was in Central City on the night of December 11, 2013 - the night of the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator explosion. She traced McCabe's credit card to a Big Belly Burger in Detroit, not Central City. Smoak noted she had a thing for their iceberg shake. After Ra's al Ghul was killed, Oliver Queen and Smoak went steady.
Over six months later, Smoak helped coordinate an op involving Vixen and Kuasa breaking into a Star City estate to steal the Water Totem. Kuasa took the totem and tried to make her escape. Smoak was not surprised to see the security system tripped after she asked if everything was okay. Just after Kuasa was captured by The Atom and Black Canary in Star City, Smoak informed Vixen that Eshu was on a rampage in Detroit. She admitted to alerting Vixen's father Chuck about the incident.
