The Ray from Earth-1 raced to Earth-X's New York City to help the Resistance before the New Reich attacked. Remembering what he saw on that Earth's Red Tornado's Neuro-Cortex, Ray explored the Grand Central Terminal ruins and found the Resistance. Ray explained he was from another Earth in a different dimension then explained how he ended up with their Ray's powers and how Overgirl recovered Tornado's Neuro-Cortex. Phantom Lady wasn't pleased to learn about the Cortex. Ray wanted to make things right. Condor pointed out they were short handed but believed they had to abandon the base. Members of the Resistance were at odds with what to do until Ray roused them with a speech about freedom and a better world. The New Reich soon descended upon New York. The Resistance made their last stand and won. Several soldiers, Black Arrow, and Blitzkrieg were taken into custody. Overgirl was last seen crashing into the bay. The Freedom Fighters soon departed New York City to make a move against the Chancellor, the leader of the Reich.
