Gotham Bay is located in the southern most point of Gotham City and acts as a crucial economic lifeline, especially in the shipping industry. However, it was infiltrated by the criminal element and illegal items are often smuggled into the Bay. In one such instance, thieves working for Red Hood stole an Amazo from a shipment intended for Black Mask. Batman, and later Nightwing, confronted Amazo and disabled it then returned to questioning the thieves. They were all snipered by Hood across the Bay.
