In the year 3027, the New Gotham Police Department was crippled by the return of Mr. Freeze. The police's weapons were unable to pierce Mr. Freeze's exo-suit. In desperation, the police turned to a solution from the legend of the Batman. However, records of his identity were lost with time. They divided the force and started searching in vain for the Batcave, hoping an answer for how to defeat Mr. Freeze would exist there.
A team led by Moira and Grey successfully found the Batcave. The first objects they found were a giant dinosaur and penny, mementos in Batman's trophy room. Moira was more fascinated by the contents of the Batcave. As a child, her father read her tales of the Batman and she always believed them to be true. Grey, on the other hand, wanted only to find the answer.
Among the artifacts found were a portrait of the Wayne Family and an antique wheelchair. They deduced that Dr. Thomas Wayne was the Batman, Martha Wayne was Batwoman, and Bruce Wayne was Red Robin. They also concluded the wheelchair belonged to the family butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Both ideas were far from true.
In frustration, Grey realized that the Batman planted binary code on the Batcave's titanium reinforcements. They scanned it, translated it, and interacted with a video recording of the Batman. Afterwards, the team defeated Mr. Freeze by disguising themselves as the Batman then injecting him with the anti-freeze solution. The department decided to imprison Freeze in the Batcave and restored it to its glory with a few enhancements.
