Clea is the curator of the Gotham Museum of Art and secretly has feelings for her friend, John Marlowe. She and others who know Marlowe were taken aback when he began to exhibit a more aggressive personality. He even outbid the Museum for Emerick's Exponential Angst. After the Batman and Robin defeated the Everywhere Man, the shy and reserved Marlowe reappeared. Clea was astonished when he donated his entire collection to the Museum. She then started to romance the introverted Marlowe.
