Virginia and Georgia Bolton are grandchildren of Emmett Bolton, a businessman who operated in the mid-1800's with Winslow and Parish. Together, they conspired to illegally dump industrial waste into a lake near laborers' homes. The laborers lost their homes and in spite, they created Solomon Grundy to get revenge. 150 years later, Clayface disguised himself as Grundy and began stealing from the descendants. Virginia and Georgia Bolton were the first victims of Grundy. They survived but their home didn't.
