Steed Island is a private island off the coast of Gotham City owned by Kilgore Steed. Free of police jurisdiction, Steed hunts the rarest of animals in a safari maze armed with death traps. After being double crossed by the Joker, Steed was left drugged. Batman, Batgirl, and Catwoman managed to navigate the maze without their gadgets and defeated the Joker.
