Starfish Island is a deserted island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. When Oliver Queen was relaxing on a yacht, he was attacked by a former employee, Count Vetrigo. Queen washed ashore on Starfish Island. He waited a day for rescue. When none came, he trained himself to his physical peak and survived. A few years later, Queen hailed a passing ship and left the island.
