The Batman once intervened a heist of money printed plates committed by the Ventriloquist and Scarface. To catch the criminals, the Batman utilized a Giant Penny kept in the building. After the case, the Batman kept the coin in the Batcave's trophy room. It was later used by D.A.V.E. to form a death trap. If the Batman chose to save his secret identity, Alfred Pennyworth would get killed by the Giant Penny. The Batman managed to instead destroy D.A.V.E. with it. It survived up to the year 3027 along with most of the other mementos.
