The Eye of Sarkana is a mystic gem that is the invaluable symbol of Far East monks and is said to enhance the state of awareness in its user. It is usually guarded by the High Priest of Sarkana.
In recent times, Bruce Wayne was able to persuade the High Priest to donate the Eye to a children's charity auction in Gotham City. The high profile event caught the attention of the Spellbinder, who planned on stealing the gem and using it for himself. He was defeated by the Batman and the real Eye was kept in the trophy room of the Batcave.
