The Batmobile is the Batman's main mode of transportation and a unique feat of engineering that even impressed the Martian Manhunter. It was completely modified and armed with advanced technology, mostly from Wayne Industries prototypes. The Batmobile is a 6-speed manual turbo-charged 0-60 in 2.4 seconds, armor plated, and ultra versatile wonder. The wheels are gel-filled Kevlar-reinforced, puncture proof, flame resistant, and are equipped for all-weather terrain.

During high-speed chases, the Batmobile is armed in the rear and front. The rear can project lubricant slicks, smoke-screens, and tire-piercing caltrops. Besides floodlights and infrared camcorders, the front is equipped with grapnels, chain-barrier cutters, ray guns, and Batarangs. When Batman is incapacitated, the Batmobile can be locked down in a five tier defense system. If a proximity alert is triggered, a surface electrification is activated. If that fails, gas is released. After that, hypersonic blasts then super adhesive glue. As a measure of last resort, the Batmobile has a self-destruct mechanism.

During a high speed chase against Gearhead, the Batmobile was destroyed. A prototype kept in the Batcave was retooled and upgraded to surpass its successor. Among its upgrades, the Batmobile was outfitted with a Dual EXP Power Core and a security measure that prevented it from being hijacked through cybernetics nor nanotechnology.

In the year 2027, the Batmobile has since been upgraded again. It more closely resembles a fortified battle assault tank. In exchange for speed, this Batmobile appears to make up in power and more evocative of fear in the hearts of criminals, everywhere. Based on its wider frame, it also appears that the Batman has abandoned the finesse and agility of previous Batmobiles and simply crushes anything in its path.
