Jack Nimball was a small time crook but later adopted a toy motif, dressed like a court jester, and became Toyman. Although considered a third rate nuisance by Superman, Toyman's weapons are still deadly. Years later, Superman and the Batman were about to arrest him when Superman was kidnapped by Hugo Strange.
