Andy Mallory is the second child of the infamous Gotham jewel thieves. He was too young to remember his parents, but his older brother, Will Mallory kept their memory alive. Through the next decade, Mallory was taught by his brother to hate figures of authority and justice. Over the years, they trained to their physical peaks and lived off of the wealth accumulated by their parents.
When the Batman appeared in Gotham, Will Mallory became fixated on destroying him. Years later, he created costumed identities Wrath and Scorn as polar opposites of the Batman and Robin. Together, the brothers would aid criminals in their escape before the Batman could stop them. Scorn was hesitant to continue but willingly went along, most likely for sport. However, after they discovered the secret identities of the Dynamic Duo and announced they'd reveal it, the Joker doused them in Joker Gas before they could steal his glory.
