Dr. Harlene Quinzelle earned an online degree in psychology and convinced Gotham Broadcasting executive, Jimmy Herbert, to greenlight a talk show. Quinzelle called it "Heart 2 Heart," and it was advertised as a show that would help people with love but it quickly became a media circus of pop psychology at its worst. The last straw was when Quinzelle insulted Bruce Wayne onscreen. She was approached by her favorite repeat caller, Mr. J, who was actually the Joker.
Deluded by a fantasy as a caregiver and attracted to the Joker's extreme personality, Quinzelle obliged him. He took her on a heist dressed up undercover as Harley Quinn. With her cover blown, Quinn was forced into hiding. However, the Valentine's Day special that was supposed to be hers, aired with another pop psychologist, Elliot Blaine. Enraged, she forced the Joker to help her attack the live taping. Outsiders thought of her as just another henchman, a vulnerable person the Joker could manipulate. If the Joker really has some affection for her is moot.
