On a planet located on the far side of the Milky Way Galaxy, there exists a race of silicon-based lifeforms and sentient animals. One such animal was of remarkable intelligence, speech, and even shared the exact isotopic signature as Beast Boy when he was in a similar state. The alien dog became a pet of Soto, who by comparison was an immature child.
Eventually, he grew tired of being Soto's toy and fled the planet. The dog settled on Earth and briefly encountered Beast Boy who Soto took instead. He decided to take advantage of his new found freedom and explored Jump City. Behaving like any super powered dog would, he ate car bumpers, smelled fire hydrants, and licked Raven's face at every chance. Cyborg devised a special sphere to trap the dog. The dog relented and promised to help the Teen Titans locate his former master. The dog managed to put his leash on Soto and declared his refusal to returning to Soto as his pet. Soto obliged him and opted to be the pet for awhile. The two returned home.
