As a precaution if the Teen Titans were compromised, a hidden jungle bunker was constructed to serve as a top secret emergency outpost. After the Brotherhood of Evil captured most of the Titans, Beast Boy arrived and activated the base with a device on his belt buckle. The outpost was not kept in complete working order but served as a staging point for the remnants of the Titans to gather and form a plan.
