The Ion Amplifier is a device created by Brother Blood, after he took over H.I.V.E. Academy and its other incarnations. According to Blood it was a compact and elegant design, paid for by three H.I.V.E.-related thefts in one week. He planned on taking control of Cyborg and outfitting him with the amplifier to augment the power of his sonic cannon. However, Cyborg is half-machine and was able to resist Blood's mind control. The amplifier was confiscated and probably fully disposed of by the Teen Titans.
