Hypno-Screens are the invention of the super villain Mad Mod. Obsessed with recreating the world in his image, the Hypno-Screens serve the purpose of brainwashing the masses and bending them to his will. Prolonged exposure to them is said to be able to completely erase memories but in the short run, the effects are temporary. Based on observation, Beast Boy appears to be the weakest against the device's power and only jokes can break its hold on him.
