After Control Freak revised his Ultimate Titans Challenge, he created a water-based crime for Aqualad to deal with. It involved tainting the Jump City reservoir with polluted water. All Aqualad had to do was shut off the main valve. However, Control Freak also released a mechanical shark, named Glen, into the reservoir pipes. Aqualad dealt with both problems at once. He jammed Glen into the valve before the timer ran down.
