Origins unknown, yet sporting an English accent, Punk Rocket appeared in Jump City to terrorize the populace and spread his message of chaos. He broke up a concert hall recital and unleashed massive bursts of sound from his guitar and subwoofer speaker system. Beast Boy taunted Rocket into destroying his own speakers and draining the power from his guitar. Once powerless, Rocket was tied up by Raven and sent to prison.
Punk Rocket was later recruited to join the Brotherhood of Evil. Soon after, he committed another crime but was caught and sent back to prison. He and Andre Le Blanc watched from the recreation room as the Titans East defeated Control Freak and his Ultimate Titans Challenge. When the Brain's scheme to eliminate the Teen Titans was brought to its final phase, Punk Rocket and Angel were sent to capture Bumblebee. Bumblebee went missing and was assumed dead but she survived and regrouped with other Titans to attack the Brotherhood in their false moment of victory. In the grand finale, Rocket was cryogenically frozen along with the other members of the Brotherhood.
